What’s Included?
Our service includes the collection and delivery of your products to our studio as well as the safe return to your premises afterwards within a 100 km range of Belleville, Ontario. Additional gas cost of $25 may be added for distances greater than 100 km or for multiple collections – this will be costed into the final quotation so you’ll always know whats due.
How long will it take?
Projects are typically completed within 7-10 days after your products arrive at our studio. In rare cases when we have an exceptionally high workload, your project may take slightly longer. Also, if your project involves a large number of photos we may need a little more time to finish the job. We will however advise at the time of collection on the expected completion time.
Are you insured?
Yes indeed we are, we have full business liability coverage so you can rest assured that your products will be fully protected whilst on our premises or in our possession.
What kind of license comes with the images?
Upon final delivery, the photographs become licensed to your company for use on a royalty-free basis. This means you are free to use the photographs in any of your publications as many times as you like, with as wide a distribution as you like, without ever having to pay us royalties for their use. We allow the use of these photos in all forms of media including print advertising, packaging, web, television, etc. We do retain the copyrights for delivered photos and the photographs may not be re-sold to any third party without prior written permission.
In what format are my photos delivered?
We deliver photos in a high resolution, 300 DPI jpeg format using maximum quality settings. In addition to the high resolution original, we can also provide smaller sized images for use on the web. Photos are delivered on DVD ready for use.
Your investment
Rates for photography projects are competitively quoted based on the specific needs of your project. Factors such as project size, product complexity, and optional features such as transparencies determine the overall cost of your project. For basic projects, we offer the following rate table as a guide.
*Price is for simple white or black background. Factors such as group shots, extra setup & assembly, bespoke backgrounds or particularly challenging products may affect these rates.
Charges for re-shoots
We add re-shoots to your final invoice at a rate of 1/2 the photo cost. For example, if you are paying $30 per photo for a series of images and decide one needs to be re-shot with a slightly different arrangement, we charge the initial rate of $30, plus an additional $15 for the re-shoot.
Re-shooting images is part of the photographic and creative process and a certain amount of work re-shooting images should be expected. The number of revisions a project requires depends largely on the tastes of the client, but in our experience if we discuss the project requirements in detail before hand very few re-soots are ever required.
